Physical Security Lead (Risk & Incident Management)

Location: Hybrid - North Region (Darlington, Manchester or Sheffield) | 3 days onsite per week

Duration: 6 months

This is a *North Region* Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a *Public Sector organisation* working on *Review, rewrite and standardise physical security risk assessments.*

We're looking for an experienced *Physical Security Lead* to join a 6-month contract focused on strengthening physical security across a multi-site estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, rewrite and standardise physical security risk assessments.
• Develop risk registers, risk statements and mitigation plans.
• Conduct strategic threat, risk and vulnerability assessments across multiple locations.
• Produce and enhance Incident Management Plans.
• Integrate security procedures into operational processes, SOPs and assignment instructions.
• Support improvements to supply chain security and operational resilience.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience writing and auditing physical security risk assessments.
• Excellent knowledge of threat, vulnerability and risk management principles.
• Experience using recognised protective security risk management frameworks.
• Background in supply chain security and incident management planning.
• Strong technical writing skills, including risk registers and security documentation.
• Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with key stakeholders.
