Summary: The Physical Network Project Manager/Subject Matter Expert (PM/SME) role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure projects, focusing on the deployment of physical network components. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure projects.

- Produce reports and project plans related to physical network installations.
- Review installation aspects with installers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Evaluate and discuss test reports from installers and recommend remediation actions.

We are seeking a highly organized and technically competent Physical Network Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure projects. This role will involve managing the deployment of physical network components such as cabling, Routers, Switches, wireless access points, and data centre equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of physical networking technologies and excellent project management skills.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Project Management skills - PM knowledge to produce reports and plan
- Physical Network skills - Ducting - External and Internal experience (Knowledge of where this should be placed, how it should be installed, able to review with the installer all aspects of the cabling)
- Fibre cabling technical knowledge - Aware of distance limitations and options of Multi-Mode, Single Mode, termination options and interfaces
- UTP cabling technical knowledge - CAT 6 and above, location of termination, cabinet, wall, floor boxes including distance limitations.
- Testing (Able to review test reports from installer and discuss remediation)
