Summary: The Performance Tester role is a contract position focused on shaping the performance testing approach for a payments portfolio. The candidate will leverage significant experience in performance testing to develop strategies and processes while mentoring the internal team. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership to ensure alignment with project objectives. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and prepare technical performance test plans.
• Develop data-driven test automation scripts.
• Execute performance and load testing using Load Runner (or similar tools).
• Design and execute daily load BVTs and larger system-level tests.
• Prepare data for execution and analyse data from performance tests.
• Report findings, log defects, and communicate issues that may affect schedule, budget, or quality.

Key Skills:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in performance testing.
• Comprehensive understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to internal teams.
