Summary: The Performance Test Engineer role involves reviewing and assessing post-certification changes in software and hardware for xHEV and BEV propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with new regulations such as UNR 155 and 156. Key Responsibilities:
- Review risk assessments for post-certification changes related to xHEV/BEV propulsion systems.
- Assess change request content against applicable regulations.
- Develop summary slide packs capturing all calibration changes.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of EV propulsion regulations, including battery safety and performance, charging systems, electromagnetic compatibility standards, and electric drive unit performance and safety standards.
- Experience in automotive powertrain testing/R&D, preferably in the hybrid and EV domain.
- Experience in test data acquisition and analysis, and associated toolchain.
- Knowledge and understanding of xHEV and BEV propulsion regulations.
