The Role
- Lead the development and support of robust performance frameworks, working directly with service leads to define KPIs and meaningful outcomes for Children’s Services.
- Spearhead the delivery of critical statutory returns, including School Census, CME/EHE returns, and Key Stage data analysis.
- Utilize advanced data tools and systems such as MRI, VYED, and Nexus to manage, interpret, and present complex datasets to senior stakeholders.
- Identify trends and patterns within education data to drive continuous improvement, identifying systemic opportunities for process enhancement.
- Design and implement improved data collection procedures to ensure high-level data integrity and reporting accuracy.
What You'll Need
Essential:
- Proven experience working within a Local Authority environment, specifically supporting Children's Services or Education departments.
- Extensive technical proficiency with education-specific datasets (School Census, Key Stage, CME) and reporting systems like Nexus, MRI, or VYED.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate "raw data" into compelling narratives for non-technical service managers.
- Deep understanding of statutory reporting requirements and the performance monitoring cycles within the public sector.
