Summary: The Performance Analyst for Tech Data will support a global IT Consultancy by delivering performance insights and analytics for a platform with over 43 million users. This role involves transforming complex data into actionable intelligence to enhance service delivery and inform strategic decisions. The position requires collaboration within a cross-functional team and focuses on data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and service optimization. The contract is for a minimum of six months and operates under inside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Query and extract data from multiple sources to analyse platform performance, user behaviour, and system health.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility of service KPIs.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate technical metrics into accessible information for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present findings and recommendations to service delivery teams, technical leads, and senior management.
  • Provide regular performance updates and contribute to monthly service reviews.
  • Establish and track performance baselines, SLOs, and identify bottlenecks or degradation patterns.
  • Support incident investigation and root cause analysis through detailed analytics.
  • Contribute to capacity planning and forecasting based on usage trends.
  • Assess the impact of changes, releases, and infrastructure modifications with DevOps and engineering teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through evidence-based recommendations.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new monitoring and analytics tools.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Splunk for log analysis and operational intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Athena and SQL-based analytics in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms.
  • Previous experience working in a product development environment, particularly in agile/DevOps settings.
  • Experience handling healthcare data or other sensitive/regulated data with understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT landscape, systems and processes/practices.
  • Experience working in high-availability, high-volume digital services.

Description:

On behalf of our client, a global leading IT Consultancy, we are seeking a Performance Analyst of Tech Data on a 6 months+ contract Inside IR 35.

The Performance Analyst will play a critical role within the Login DevOps service, supporting the delivery of performance insights and analytics for a platform serving 43+ million users. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into actionable intelligence that drives service improvements, informs strategic decisions and ensures optimal platform performance.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Query and extract data from multiple sources to analyse platform performance, user behaviour, and system health.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility of service KPIs.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Translate technical metrics into accessible information for technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Skills and 'must have' experience: Technical Tools

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices

The successful candidate will be eligible for and undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard check (BPSS).
