Summary: The role of People Employment Compliance Coordinator involves supporting the People Employment Team during a 12-month maternity leave contract. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare HR-related audit documentation and liaise with requesters for submissions.
  • Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.
  • Create, review, and manage purchase orders for various departments within the People Team.
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, including tracking pending orders.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to streamline purchasing/payment processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance strategies.
  • Support colleagues with global compliance reporting and documentation.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Administrator/Coordinator in auditing, purchase order, and supplier management.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with Financial and HRIS systems is advantageous.

Job ID:43135 Location:LRQA - Edinburgh - Edinburgh Par Position Category:Human Resources Position Type:Employee Fixed Term Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced Compliance Co-ordinator to work within our People Employment Team on a 12-month fixed term Maternity Leave contract. This role will be part office/part home based. This role will involve working closely with our Payroll Compliance and Global Auditing Team on Statutory Audits. The role holder will also work with our Global Sustainability Team on Investor and 3rd Party Audit questionnaires as well as working with our Procurement and Finance Teams on Supplier and Invoice management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with other relevant teams to coordinate and prepare HR related Audit documentation and liaise with the requester to ensure submissions are as per the request.
  • Review and verify supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts and agreements.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and any payment-related issues.
  • Create, review, and manage purchase orders for various departments and projects within the People Team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, including tracking and follow-up on pending orders.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to streamline the purchasing / Payment process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance strategies.
  • Support colleagues with other global compliance reporting and documentation.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience as an Administrator/Co-ordinator from an auditing, purchase order and supplier management background, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, such as MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a Team.
  • Previous Financial and HRIS System experience would be advantageous.
