Summary: We are seeking a People Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills for a 12-month hybrid contract in Derby. The role involves collating, processing, and analyzing People data to support the People Analytics team of a globally respected client in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights to HR leaders. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in data management within a People or HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collating, cleaning and validating People data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analysing and reporting People/HR metrics.
- Developing and maintaining People/HR reports and dashboards.
- Ensuring data integrity by identifying discrepancies and implementing control checks.
- Presenting reporting, analysis and insights to People/HR leaders.
- Supporting compliance with data privacy regulations.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in data analysis/management information, preferably in People or HR function.
- Advanced Excel skills (eg complex formulas, pivot tables, models).
- Good PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding or People/HR metrics and processes.
- Power BI knowledge/experience (preferable).

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented People Data Analyst with extended Excel experience to support our Client's People Analytics team by collating, processing, analysing and reporting People data. You will ensure data and report accuracy and provide actionable analysis and insights.
As a People Data Analyst (Excel) you will be responsible for:
