Acting as the first point of contact for people-related queries, you will support a broad range of HR activities throughout the employee life cycle, maintaining accurate records and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Your new role

As a People Coordinator, you will provide high-quality administrative and transactional HR support, ensuring an efficient and right-first-time service to employees and managers.

Acting as the first point of contact for People-related queries, you will support a broad range of HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate records and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems.
  • Processing starters, leavers, contractual changes and employee life cycle administration.
  • Preparing contracts, offer letters and employment documentation
  • Coordinating recruitment administration, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
  • Supporting compliance activities including DBS, right-to-work and audit requirements.
  • Producing and maintaining HR reports and supporting data quality initiatives.
  • Assisting with HR projects, system improvements and continuous improvement activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working within an HR, People or Shared Services environment and enjoy delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities.

You will also have:

  • Experience providing HR administration or transactional support.
  • Previous experience maintaining HR systems and employee data.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience handling confidential information sensitively and professionally.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and the employee life cycle.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
