Summary: The role of People Advisor involves supporting a Retail Banking client with employee relations escalations and complex people issues. The position requires experienced candidates who can quickly adapt to a high-intensity work environment. The successful applicants will have a strong background in People Advisory roles within Financial Services and will be expected to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. This is a 6-month initial contract with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days a week on-site in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ER escalations and complex people issues.
- Handle and resolve ER cases effectively.
- Advise on UK employment legislation and practices.
- Communicate with senior stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Prepare investigation reports, outcome letters, and policy documents.
- Apply FCA Conduct Rules and utilize SMCR experience.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in a People Advisory role within Financial Services.
- Proven track record in handling ER cases.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CIPD qualification.

We are seeking two experienced People Advisors to join a Retail Banking client on a high-intensity body of work, supporting ER escalations and complex people issues. The successful candidates will be able to hit the ground running as the client are going through a period of increased activity.
Key Experience:
- Extensive experience in a People Advisory role within a Financial Services environment
- Proven track record of handling and resolving ER cases
- Extensive working knowledge of UK employment legislation, employment practices and advising on appropriate proactive action.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to prep investigation reports and outcome letters which detail findings and recommendations, and policy and process documents.
- Application of FCA Conduct Rules, and previous SMCR experience is beneficial.
