Cyber Defence Services – Senior Penetration Tester
Contract opportunity
Location: Leeds, Bristol, London, or remote/hybrid working
Focus: Application Security and Penetration Testing
Responsibilities
- Deliver and lead application penetration testing engagements
- Scope and manage testing activities, risks, and client expectations
- Perform quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Coach and support junior team members and testers
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
- Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and services
Skills & Experience
- CCT-App certification essential, with CCT-INF advantageous
- Strong hands-on experience in application penetration testing
- Expertise across web applications, APIs, and mobile security testing
- Proven background delivering security testing engagements within the UK cyber security industry
- Solid understanding of information security principles, networks, and programming
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
