Summary: APEX EDUC8 is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher for a full-time position in an outstanding secondary school located in Harrow. The role involves delivering high-quality PE lessons, fostering an inclusive environment, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance student learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver PE lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
- Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
- Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the PE department and the wider school
Key Skills:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Passion for PE and the ability to inspire students
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
