PCB CAD Designer - SC Cleared

Summary: The PCB CAD Designer role requires an SC cleared professional to engage in PCB CAD design, focusing on layout, component placement, and routing for RF and high-speed digital boards using Altium. Key Responsibilities:

• PCB layout, component placement, and routing for RF and high-speed digital boards using Altium
• Electronic schematic capture and components library management
• Design for manufacturing and testability
• Support design engineers in material selection for PCBs
• Design and verify high-speed and power traces
• Preparation of manufacturing data and definition of layup
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards and guidelines

Key Skills:

• More than 5 years of experience in PCB CAD design using Altium
• Expertise in mixed technology (SMT, PTH) and multi-layer PCBs
• Knowledge of RF and high-speed digital board design
• Proficiency in IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610, IPC-2221 standards
• Experience in design for manufacturing and testability
• Ability to design and verify balanced high-speed traces and power traces
• Strong understanding of components placement and library definition
