PCB CAD Designer - SC Cleared

Summary: The PCB CAD Designer role requires SC clearance and involves PCB CAD design responsibilities, including layout, component placement, and routing for RF and high-speed digital boards using Altium. The position is with a leading defense technology consultancy and is initially for a duration of 6 months. The role emphasizes adherence to internal design guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• PCB layout, component placement, and routing for RF and high-speed digital boards using Altium.
• Design and verify balanced high-speed traces and power traces.
• Support design engineers in selecting specific PCB materials.
• Prepare manufacturing data and ensure compliance with IPC standards.
• Define components library and manage mixed technology routing.
• Design multi-layer PCBs and ensure manufacturability and testability.

Key Skills:

• More than 5 years of experience in PCB CAD design using Altium.
• Deep knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610, and IPC-2221 standards.
• Experience with electronic schematic capture and components library definition.
• Ability to design for manufacturing and testability.
• Expertise in RF and high-speed digital board design.
• Familiarity with mixed technology (SMT, PTH) and multi-layer PCB design.
