Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SME input across key payroll transformation workstreams, including end-to-end payroll data flows.
- Define roles and responsibilities across the payroll function.
- Develop training frameworks and knowledge structures.
- Design and refine the Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Assess current state processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Provide consultancy guidance on resolving key payroll challenges.
- Support the team in prioritising and driving practical, sustainable improvements.
- Work closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and Operations.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Payroll SME / Payroll Process Expert on transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll ecosystems, including data flows and controls.
- Experience designing or contributing to Target Operating Models (TOM).
- Ability to define processes, governance, and operating frameworks.
- Experience developing training and knowledge frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment.

This is a hands-on advisory role where you will bring deep payroll expertise to help define best practice, address pain points, and guide delivery teams toward effective, scalable solutions.
