Summary: The role of Solution Architect focuses on leading a Payroll Transformation Programme within a leading organization, specifically utilizing SAP Employee Central Payroll and Employee Central. The architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enhance the colleague experience and modernize payroll processes. Collaboration with technical teams and operational stakeholders is essential to ensure alignment with program objectives. This position is hybrid and based in South Manchester, with an initial duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide solution architecture leadership across the payroll transformation programme.
- Design and guide the implementation of solutions within SAP Employee Central Payroll and SAP Employee Central.
- Collaborate with programme teams across multiple workstreams to ensure solutions align with programme goals and enterprise architecture.
- Engage with both technical and operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
- Support the delivery of improvements that enhance the colleague payroll and HR experience.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to optimise payroll processes and system capabilities.

- Strong technical expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll.

- Good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes.
- Proven experience working as a Solution Architect on HR or payroll transformation programmes.

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a Payroll Transformation Programme, a strategic initiative made up of multiple workstreams focused on improving the overall colleague experience across the organisation.
This role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the architectural solutions required to modernise payroll processes and systems. The successful candidate will work closely with both technical teams and operational stakeholders to ensure the programme delivers against its objectives.
