Summary: The Payroll Services Coordinator will oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a leading retail brand in London's West End on a contract basis until December 2024. This role involves ensuring tax compliance, managing payroll discrepancies, and maintaining HRIS data integrity during a transitional period. The ideal candidate will have UK payroll experience and strong communication skills to support HR functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly outsourced payrolls (local & shadow payrolls), including starters/leavers, benefits, and pensions.
  • Ensure tax compliance (P45/P60/P11D, HMRC) and collaborate with Finance on payroll accounting.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries.
  • Manage POs, invoices, vendor setup, and IR35 compliance.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity through monthly audits.
  • Oversee expat payroll/benefits with external providers.
  • Support payroll budgeting (SAP BPC) and annual insurance renewals.

Key Skills:

  • 2-3 years' UK payroll experience (retail sector a plus).
  • Proficiency in UK payroll law and systems.
  • Strong Excel skills, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach.
