Your new company
I am recruiting for a Temp Payroll Officer for alogistics business that has grown significantly over the years, consistentlyimproving their ways of working. At our Head Office, you will have theopportunity to fully utilise your skill set while also building upon it, asthere are always plenty of opportunities for progression. This role will be apart-time temporary role for up to 3 months, which could potentially turn intoa permanent role for the right candidate.

This will be an onsite role based inBurnley.
Your new role
In this role, you will be working within anexperienced team, preparing the monthly and weekly payroll for over 250employees across multiple companies. You will manage the full end-to-endpayroll process, perform payroll reconciliations, and post nominal journals.Additionally, you will coordinate with the HR department to ensure employeerecords are up-to-date and all new starter information is available. When notpreparing payroll, you will assist the accounts team with various tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have experience ina similar payroll position, conducting end-to-end payroll. Experience usingSage Line 50 is essential. You should be computer-literate with strongMicrosoft Office skills, including Excel. Being well-organised and able todeliver in a fast-paced environment is crucial. You should be self-motivatedwith good attention to detail and have excellent time management skills to meetstrict deadlines.
