Summary: The Payroll Implementations Manager role is a fixed-term contract focused on leading the implementation of a new integrated payroll system within a manufacturing environment.   • Manage UAT and parallel runs, identifying issues early and driving solutions.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and a clear payroll knowledge base.
  • Coach and upskill the existing payroll team to ensure confidence post-implementation.
  • Challenge and refine legacy practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Support cultural change by encouraging self-service adoption among managers.

Payroll Implementations Manager Contract: FTC (6 Months) - Hybrid Location: Redditch Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Are you an experienced payroll professional with a track record or experience of leading implementation projects? This is a fixed-term opportunity to play a pivotal role in a large-scale HR and payroll transformation programme, ensuring a smooth system implementation and handover.

The Role

As Payroll Implementations Manager, you will be responsible for configuring, testing, and embedding a new integrated the payroll section of a new HRIS & T&A software, within a manufacturing environment. You will lead on payroll set-up, ensure compliance, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and guide the payroll team through transition. Alongside this, you will document robust processes to create a sustainable framework and reduce single points of failure.

The Details

Fixed-term contract to March 2026. Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:30 (early finish). Two-stage interview process (MS Teams, then onsite). Pre-employment checks will be required.
