Summary: The Payroll Consultant role involves supporting payroll operations for the UK and Ireland, including the cloning of existing payroll systems and assisting with new implementations. The consultant will represent payroll from a product and system perspective, particularly with SAP Payroll knowledge, and will be responsible for authoring test scenarios and scripts. The position requires participation in payroll testing cycles and stabilization activities during the transition phase. This role is expected to last between 6 to 12 months and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support payroll for UK and Ireland.
- Clone existing payroll systems and support new payroll implementations.
- Represent payroll from a product and system perspective (SAP Payroll Knowledge).
- Author detailed test scenarios and test scripts based on blueprint inputs and expected outputs.
- Support payroll transition and stabilization activities.
- Participate in payroll testing cycles and validation activities. Cutover, Go live, Hypercare.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with UK and Ireland payroll projects preferable.
- Strong understanding of payroll lifecycle, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Prior experience in payroll implementations or transitions.
- Hands-on exposure to payroll testing and cutover planning.
- 7-9 years or relevant exp.
