Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant specializing in UK Payroll to support a key client engagement in Canary Wharf, London. The role involves leading the design and implementation of SAP HCM modules, managing payroll cycles, ensuring compliance with UK statutory requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in payroll processing and configuration within SAP HCM. This position is hybrid and has a contract duration of 6–9 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP HCM modules, with a primary focus on UK Payroll
- Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, including schema configuration, PCR (Personnel Calculation Rules), and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with UK statutory requirements, including HMRC, RTI, FPS, EPS, Tax, National Insurance, Pensions, Court Orders, and Year-End activities
- Handle support tickets, issue resolution, and system enhancements as part of BAU operations
- Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions
- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers for custom developments
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to end users
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as FI, SuccessFactors, and Time Management
