Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and validate weekly timesheet data from multiple labour sites and operatives.
- Cross-check shift details, job roles and pay rates against project-specific rate cards.
- Prepare payroll spreadsheets for submission to external payroll firms.
- Liaise with consultants and site staff to resolve any timesheet discrepancies before deadlines.
- Maintain internal payroll logs and reports to ensure audit readiness.
- Handle all personal data in line with GDPR and company policies.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in data entry, administration or payroll support.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and data formatting desirable).
- Ability to meet tight weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams.
- Knowledge of PAYE, CIS or umbrella payroll models (desirable).
- AAT or CIPP qualification (or working towards) (desirable).
- Experience within construction labour compliance and timesheet systems (desirable).

This Role Is Ideal For Either Experienced payroll administrators looking to work in a fast-paced construction labour supply environment. Data entry or administrative professionals with strong Excel skills who are keen to train in payroll. Full payroll process training will be provided for candidates with a strong data entry/administration background.
