Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time using the Dayforce HCM platform.
- Input and validate employee data, adjustments, statutory deductions, and pay elements.
- Resolve queries and discrepancies related to pay, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Support compliance activities, including audits and statutory reporting (e.g. PAYE, P45, P60).
- Assist in maintaining payroll documentation and process improvement.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience using Dayforce HCM to process UK payroll (essential).
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Confident communicating with stakeholders and handling sensitive information.
- Previous experience in contract, interim, or project-based payroll roles is beneficial.
- Able to travel regularly to the client site, especially in the first few weeks of the contract.
