Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the Payroll teams

- Support onboarding and leaver processes, including documentation and system updates
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate information flow

Our Apprentice Pay and Contracts Administrator role offers you the chance to start your career in a Payroll and be involved in shaping our service and its future growth having impact across all council services, and schools. As part of this role you will be supported to undertake and achieve an apprenticeship accredited by Skills England of Level 3 or above dependant on previous qualifications or skills. The apprenticeship will be fully funded by the council, and you will be given time off for study as required for the duration of the apprenticeship which is typically 2 years depending on any previous qualifications achieved. Once you complete your apprenticeship there is the potential to move through the career progression levels within the team and continue your career with us.
