Key Responsibilities:
- Manage test on multiple concurrent projects, performing requirement analysis and creating test strategies.
- Provide test estimates for in-scope items, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Create detailed test plans and work breakdown structures to illustrate resource allocation and scheduling tasks.
- Drive test delivery against agreed schedules, ensuring proactive progress.
- Track and forecast project test costs and labor hours.
- Drive automation and agile practices within the team/applications.
- Ensure smooth and high-quality deliveries across all test phases.
- Manage and escalate RAID issues with mitigation plans.
- Oversee closure of test defects and manage the defect management process.
- Coordinate the usage and upgrades of test environments.
- Communicate effectively with offshore test analysts/leads/managers.
- Participate in regular project management meetings to discuss progress and risks.
- Track and manage test metrics and KPIs.
- Engage and manage stakeholders, including UAT and NFT test teams.
- Implement appropriate test processes and methodologies, enhancing them as needed.
- Provide team management, mentoring, coaching, and operational support.
- Collaborate with the Deployment Manager and business team for post-go-live support activities.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in a Test Management role.
- Previous payments experience in large-scale projects.
- UK Faster Payments experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with ICON IPF and SWIFT is desirable.
- MQ and API experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence is a must.
- ISTQB or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Working with offshore test delivery teams, onshore delivery project teams, the Test Manager will support testing through:
Managing test on projects (1 or more concurrent delivery) by performing requirement analysis, creating Test strategy, Test designing, low level test and environment plans, documentation and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Responsible for providing Test Estimates for in scope items - timelines and resourcing
Responsible for creating detailed Test plans and work breakdown structure plans to illustrate resource allocation and scheduling tasks.
Responsible for Test delivery against agreed Testing schedules, where the TM is proactively driving test activities forward to ensure progress is being made at all times.
Responsible for tracking and forecasting project Test costs and labour hours.
Responsible for driving automation and agile practices in the Team/Applications by engaging with Automation Shared Service.
Responsible for all Test phases in scope to ensure smooth and high quality deliveries.
Manage and Escalate RAID with mitigation plan.
Overall accountability for closure of Test defects and driving defect management process.
Manage and coordinate the usage and upgrades of test environments.
Strong verbal and written communicator who is very comfortable supporting and directing the work of offshore test analyst/leads/managers.
Participate in regular meetings with project management to communicate accomplishments, plans and issues as well as any risks to the project's progress.
Skilled in Jira/Zephyr/Scale for Test and Defect Management (test scenarios/cases, defects, reporting) and other tools such as confluence.
Track and manage metrics as per Test Metrics and KPIs.
Engage and Manage Stakeholders including UAT and NFT test Teams, working closely with the PMs to ensure expectations are met.
Ensure appropriate test processes and methodologies, implementing enhancements wherever appropriate.
Team Management, Mentoring, Coaching and Operational support to team.
Work with Deployment Manager and Business team for Dress Rehearsal and Post Go Live support activities (If applicable).
