Summary: The role of Data Analyst - Payments at a leading bank requires an experienced professional with a strong understanding of payment workflows and risk management. The position involves managing payment risks within the COO organization and contributing to transformation efforts in payments. The candidate will utilize advanced data skills to support various substreams of payment transformation, focusing on wholesale payments in global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the firm's Payment Risk
- Supporting the COO organization in payment transformation initiatives
- Enforcing and managing payments risk effectively
- Working on data-intensive transformation projects
- Solutioning various aspects of payment processes
- Processing payments in global markets, including TTS and Securities Services
- Utilizing SWIFT and Clearing House Settlements
Key Skills:
- 12-15+ years of experience in data analysis and program management
- Domain expertise in Operations and Technology functions
- Hands-on experience with Python, Tableau, and SQL
- Strong understanding of payment flows, types, and messaging
- Experience with large, complex implementation and transformation programs
- Proficiency in technology architecture and workflow tools
- Change management skills for planning and executing implementations
- Knowledge of Markets, SSO, TTS, and Lending products
