PAT Tester

Summary: The PAT Tester role at Enerveo involves ensuring electrical safety across various commercial properties through Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical appliances and equipment in line with industry regulations and company standards.
• Ensuring all appliances are tested thoroughly, with accurate labelling and clear identification of pass/fail status.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of testing results, including equipment condition and any remedial actions taken.
• Identifying, reporting, and escalating any electrical hazards or faults discovered during testing.
• Providing clear and professional advice to clients on the ongoing maintenance, usage, and safety of electrical appliances.
• Managing daily workload efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Representing the company in a professional manner while on client sites.

Key Skills:

• City & Guilds 2377 qualification in Portable Appliance Testing (or equivalent recognized certification).
• Good understanding of current electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication skills and confidence to advise clients on safety and compliance matters.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and use initiative.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a similar role or environment is desirable but not essential.
