Summary: The PAT Tester will be responsible for conducting Portable Appliance Testing across two manufacturing sites in Burton Latimer and Corby, ensuring equipment safety and functionality. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PAT testing on a wide range of electrical equipment across our sites in Burton Latimer and Corby
- Complete basic repairs such as replacing plugs, fuses, and damaged cables
- Carry out testing of RCD sockets across our sites in Burton Latimer and Corby
- Identify and safely remove or label equipment that fails testing
- Record and maintain accurate test results and documentation
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to support site safety
- Follow all workplace health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
Key Skills:
- PAT Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent)
- Basic electrical repair skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial Environment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Hold a full, clean driver's licence
