Summary: The Partnership Tax Accountant role is integral to the Partnership Affairs team, focusing on managing partnership accounting, tax compliance, and remuneration. This position involves collaboration with external tax advisors and internal teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance across various jurisdictions. The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract, emphasizing the importance of delivering timely and precise tax computations and maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of timely and accurate entity level tax computations for optimal tax efficiency, primarily in the UK.
  • Deliver a comprehensive system for calculating, maintaining, and reporting personal tax reserves, including cash movements and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the Partnership Accounting team to apply tax reserves to partner current accounts.
  • Prepare illustrations and projections of tax liabilities for joiner and leaver scenarios.
  • Provide regular data on the cash impact of upcoming tax liabilities for cash flow reporting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on legislation and advise on tax-related queries.
  • Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tax-related tasks as required.

Key Skills:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CTA/ATT qualified with proven experience in LLP and personal tax compliance.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong client relationship development skills and a client-centric approach.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive data.
  • Proficient in planning, prioritizing, and using technology for efficient work.
