Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a part-time position based in East Kilbride, Scotland, focused on maternity cover for 12 months. Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, embodying business values and acting as a role model to create a positive culture where colleagues can excel and drive business success.
  • Provide senior-level coaching as a trusted advisor and thought leader, challenging business perspectives and supporting decision-making.
  • Contribute to shaping the HR strategy by driving initiatives, ensuring effective implementation, and ensuring their long-term sustainability.
  • Promote colleague engagement by partnering with senior leaders to establish leadership practices, communication, and actions that align with business goals.
  • Lead talent and succession planning efforts, focusing on developing organizational capabilities and continuously enhancing business performance.
  • Effectively manage change, ensuring business reorganizations and change initiatives, including TUPEs, comply with legislation, policy, and cultural values.
  • Identify key focus areas that drive business growth, such as performance management, engagement (including DEI and wellbeing), leadership capability, and ensure their successful delivery.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to performance management, enhancing skills and capabilities across the business.

Key Skills:

  • Experienced HRBP with a strong track record of partnering with senior leaders in customer-facing, geographically dispersed organizations, driving success and delivering on key activities.
  • Skilled in prioritising critical tasks, adapting to agile and ambiguous environments.
  • Effectively translating data into insights to influence business decisions.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to contribute to leadership teams.
  • Support change initiatives.
  • Navigate complex employee relations, including restructures and TUPE.
  • Proactive, resilient, and self-driven, with a focus on continuous development.
  • Maintaining effectiveness under pressure.
  • Promoting a positive HR reputation across the business.
