Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the month-end close and ensuring numbers are accurate and timely
- Building and maintaining a rolling 13-week cashflow forecast
- Supporting day-to-day financial control across multiple locations
- Driving improvements in processes and controls where needed
- Playing a hands-on role in system upgrades and migrations (finance and payroll/people systems)
- Acting as a reliable finance point of contact for site leadership
Key Skills:
- Solid core accounting background, comfortable owning the books end-to-end
- Experience in cashflow forecasting and working capital management
- Confident working independently in a hands-on role
- Exposure to system implementation or upgrades (finance systems in particular)
- Familiarity with multi-site operations, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment
- Someone with enough presence to influence and drive change, without overcomplicating things
- Ideally a qualified Accountant

Our client are looking for a practical, steady pair of hands to support the finance function over the coming months. This is a part-time role with a broad brief - ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail while also helping shape how things run.
You'll take ownership of core finance activity across a small group of sites, working closely with operational leads and reporting into a group-level contact.
