Summary: The role of Part Time Senior Finance Manager in the charity sector involves leading a small finance team and reporting directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a small finance team, ensuring high performance and compliance with financial controls.
• Oversee the finance function and contribute to the charity's business strategy and income generation plans.
• Develop organization-wide and local project budgets, advising the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO and Trustee Board.
• Guide and mentor team members, providing performance feedback.
• Ensure completion of all accounting functions, payroll, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Monitor and complete effective finance and administrative systems.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Key Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.
• Experience with charitable accounts and financial regulations.
• Ability to develop financial models and manage income generation.
• Experience in staff supervision and team management.
• Knowledge of restricted and unrestricted funds, and compliance with charity obligations.
