Summary: The role of Part Time Finance Director involves strategic financial management and oversight for a growing enterprise in Fleet, requiring significant experience at the Board level within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will lead the finance team and ensure effective financial controls and reporting while navigating various challenges alongside the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial management, planning, business analysis, and reporting.
• Implement effective financial controls and cash management.
• Lead and develop the finance team to uphold reporting and service standards.
• Support the Board in navigating financial challenges.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 10 years’ post qualification experience.
• Experience as a Finance Director or CFO with a focus on team development.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly in mortgage or lending.
• Familiarity with reporting regulatory returns to BOE and FCA.

Salary (Rate): £160,000
