Summary: Plan International is looking for an entry-level Paralegal to support its Legal team, focusing on legal claims management and documentation organization. This role is a 3-month fixed-term position that requires collaboration with colleagues across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a law degree or equivalent experience and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. The position is hybrid/remote based in Woking, UK, with a start date in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide paralegal support to the Legal and Legal Compliance Teams.
  • Collect, review, and organize legal documentation and information.
  • Assist in the transition of legal information from a legacy to a new IT platform.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Plan International to deliver high-quality service.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a legal or compliance team.
  • Degree in law or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online collaboration tools.
  • Experience with knowledge and information management.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to develop skills in legal claims management.
  • Pro-active team player with a flexible approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
