Summary: Plan International is looking for an entry-level Paralegal to support its Legal team, focusing on legal claims management and documentation organization. This role is a 3-month fixed-term position that requires collaboration with colleagues across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a law degree or equivalent experience and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. The position is hybrid/remote based in Woking, UK, with a start date in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide paralegal support to the Legal and Legal Compliance Teams.
- Collect, review, and organize legal documentation and information.
- Assist in the transition of legal information from a legacy to a new IT platform.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Plan International to deliver high-quality service.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a legal or compliance team.
- Degree in law or related field, or equivalent experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online collaboration tools.
- Experience with knowledge and information management.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to develop skills in legal claims management.
