Role and key responsibilities

This is a hands on, client facing role within our core real estate team. You will have your own files and will take ownership of your matters and deal with them through to their conclusion. You will act primarily for a major transport client in its capacity as a major landowner granting leases in its standard form to tenants across its real estate portfolio. You will report into a Legal Director and Principle Associate and will also be supervised and assisted by other solicitors in the team.

You are likely to be responsible for:

  • Dealing with high volume, fast-paced work and transactions.
  • Adhering to strict client key performance indicators.
  • Client contact – transactional and relationship management including feeding into weekly and monthly client updates.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of transactional documentation included leases, surrenders, lease renewals and licences.
