Summary: The Panel Wireman role is a 3-month rolling contract based in Peterborough, focusing on the fabrication and assembly of electrical control panels for a major manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate panels and fit electrical components according to detailed engineering drawings
• Drilling, Tapping, Trunking, Conduit of panel etc
• Installing electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLC’s, power supplies, motors, drives etc
• Wiring panels – crimping, soldering, terminating, stripping wires
• Basic testing of control panels

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in panel wiring within an industrial environment
• Understanding schematics and layout drawings
• Expertise in panel modification, building, and machine wiring
• Electrical qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or apprentice trained
• Ability to fault find and repair a variety of control panels
• Hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members
