Summary: The PAM Test Analyst role based in Sheffield requires a professional with proven experience in software testing, particularly in Privileged Access Management (PAM) or Identity & Access Management (IAM). The position mandates three days in the office and is contracted until November 30, 2025, with a pay rate of £350-395 per day through an umbrella company. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, alongside technical expertise in relevant tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct software testing with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Utilize PAM solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic), or Microsoft PAM.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to IAM principles, privileged account security, and least privilege access.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI.
  • Manage testing processes using tools such as JIRA.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in software testing, particularly in PAM or IAM.
  • Familiarity with PAM solutions (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Microsoft PAM).
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles and privileged account security.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
  • Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA).

Essential:

* Proven experience in software testing, preferably within Privileged Access Management (PAM) or Identity & Access Management (IAM).
* Experience with PAM solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic), or Microsoft PAM.
* Strong understanding of IAM principles, privileged account security, and least privilege access.
* Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
* Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable:

* Experience working within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.

* Certifications such as ISTQB, CISSP, CISM, or CyberArk Defender are a plus.
