An opportunity to shine as a paint sprayer on a live rail depot in Crewe, ensuring trains are presentable for service
The Situation
Working for a large global organisation that provide state of the art rolling stock solutions for countries around world. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part in the build process to finesse the finished product with your painting abilities.
This role will involve staying away from home for durations between 1 - 2 weeks.
The Candidate
You will have previous experience in a similar, and have an excellent eye for detail.
You will ideally have experience spraying large panels and be skilled in carrying out all prep work.
You will be skilled in using 1pk, 2pk paints, as well as primers, and finishers.
You will be a team player with the experience to go out and work independently – a problem solver with an aptitude to think on your feet and carry out a wide range of tasks.
This vacancy is an immediate requirement and immediate start is available for the right candidate
Essential
Previous experience paint spraying on motor vehicles, aircraft, buses, lorries, coaches etc.
You must be time served, or have NVQ level 2 in a relevant field
Driving licence - you will be required to travel to other depots and locations
