PAID MEDIA MANAGER - NOVASTORY
Full-time | London | Hybrid | Start: From May Onwards
ABOUT NOVASTORY
NovaStory is a founder-led performance marketing agency specialising in paid search and social for UK hospitality and B2B brands. Our clients include some of the most recognised names in London hospitality. We're a lean, ambitious team - and we're growing fast in 2026. We are lean by design. That means every person on the team carries real weight, has genuine ownership over their work, and contributes directly to where the agency goes. We do sharp thinking, strong client relationships, and results that speak for themselves.

THE ROLE
We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to own and develop campaign delivery across part of our client portfolio and become an operational backbone of the agency as we build the team up. You'll be the day-to-day lead on client accounts - managing campaigns, reporting, and supporting client comms - while our MD and planner focuses on new busines development and agency growth. This is a high-ownership role with real scope. You'll have direct client relationships, independence, meaningful input on strategy, and the opportunity to grow into a senior position rapidly as the team scales. We're less concerned with where you've been than with what you're capable of. If your current title doesn't reflect your abilities or the level you're ready to operate at, that won't count against you here. If you're a Senior Executive who is ready to step into a true management role and take on genuine account ownership, we'd like to hear from you. If you're an existing Paid Media Manager who feels underutilised, under-developed, or simply ready for a better-suited opportunity, we'd like to hear from you too. What we're looking for is competency, commercial awareness, and the right attitude - not a title that ticks a box. We'll assess every application on the same terms: the quality of your thinking, the depth of your experience, and whether this is genuinely the right next step for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max for a portfolio of premium clients
Running paid social campaigns across Meta and other relevant platforms
Owning client-facing reporting - using our dashboard tools (Swydo, Looker, SuperAds), writing performance commentary, and presenting results clearly
Joining regular status calls and check-ins with clients as the technical account lead
Supporting with some day-to-day client email correspondence with professionalism and speed
Building performance forecasts and campaign plans tied to client objectives and briefs
Conducting keyword research, audience builds, negative keyword management, and ongoing optimisation
Flagging issues proactively and bringing solutions, not just problems

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2-4 years of hands-on paid media experience, agency-side preferred
Strong Google Ads specialism - Search campaigns are your bread and butter
Comfortable owning client relationships and communicating performance clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience building reporting dashboards (Looker Studio, GA4, Swydo, SuperAds, or similar)
Organised, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple accounts without dropping balls
Confident on client calls - personable, prepared, and commercially aware
Google Ads certified (or working towards it)

WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE WE'RE GOING
We're at an inflection point. The foundations are in place - a strong retained client base, a clear niche, and a pipeline of new business that will significantly grow the agency over the next 12 months. This new team member hire is central to that. We need someone who can take ownership of technical campaign and delivery so the MD can focus on growth - and who wants to be part of building something, not just filling a seat. If you're looking for a role where you clock in, execute tasks, and clock out, this isn't it. If you're looking for a role where your work genuinely shapes the agency, where you can grow fast, and where being part of building a leading London agency actually means something to you then please reach out.
