- Medical Procedures: Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures, such as inserting intravenous lines, chest tube placements, and urinary catheterizations.
- Managing Life-Support Equipment: Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Family Support: Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients' families, helping them understand their child's condition and involving them in the care process.
- Collaborating with the Healthcare Team: Work closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond rapidly to emergencies, delivering immediate interventions to stabilize patients during critical situations.
