Paediatric Educator/Trainer

Summary: The Paediatric Clinical Trainer is tasked with developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing the clinical skills of healthcare teams in paediatric care. This role requires a blend of paediatric expertise and educational skills to mentor non-clinical staff in community settings. The trainer will work closely with the clinical director to uphold high standards of paediatric practice and improve patient care through effective education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct educational sessions on paediatric care for non-clinical staff to ensure safety and competency in delegated tasks.
• Provide clinical competency sign offs for all trained tasks required in the support package, enhancing practical skills in paediatrics.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest paediatric healthcare practices and integrate new research and evidence-based guidelines into training programs.
• Work closely with paediatric clinical teams to assess training needs and improve care delivery through education.
