Role Overview
- Ensure that all procurement material control & logistics work is performed in accordance with the Quality Management System, project requirements and strategy.
- Understand project scope of work and project procurement plan and perform assigned tasks accordingly.
- Identify and maintain communication with relevant internal and external parties, such as PRE and suppliers.
- Implement effective communication routines with project parties and external interfaces.
- Plan and administer sub-contracts and purchase orders according to project plans.
- Assist Procurement Manager in establishing the Procurement Plan and resource estimates.
- Report progress of assigned procurement tasks as required.
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials at the agreed quality, price, and delivery time.
- Coordinate follow-up activities and inspections at suppliers' sites in collaboration with other project groups.
- Implement and comply with project's routines for archiving and experience transfer.
- Register and follow up on deviations, proposing improvements when necessary.
- Provide assistance to project procurement manager to ensure project milestones, profit, and performance goals are met.
- May be assigned project procurement lead role when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Buyer Expediting experience
- Experience in wastewater projects (preferred)
- Purchasing knowledge
- Supply Chain expertise
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and material control roles.
