Summary: The role of P2P - Business Data Analyst involves supporting a significant Finance Transformation initiative for a client, with a focus on ensuring effective communication between business teams, workstreams, and IT. The position requires extensive data mapping and testing processes to facilitate a smooth implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP-driven P2P processes and relevant technical skills. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, requiring three days on-site work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business, Workstream, and IT stakeholders to gather, validate, and document accurate functional and technical requirements.
  • Conduct extensive data mapping from Contract Management System to Snowflake and then to SAP.
  • Define, execute, and oversee strong testing processes (SIT, UAT) aligned with programme timelines.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, design, test cases, and deployment outcomes.
  • Work closely with Engineering team to create technical specifications/data models ready for implementation.
  • Conduct end-to-end data journey analysis and process mapping.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in ERP-driven P2P process analysis.
  • Experience with ERP Platforms such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Knowledge in process areas including P2P, S2P, S2C, O2C, R2R, and RRB.
  • Data flow mapping between ERP and external systems.
  • Data migration & integration support.
  • Strong documentation and requirements definition skills.
  • Understanding of Snowflake, orchestration, and event-driven architectures (nice to have).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a large-scale transformation environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with detailed documentation & process mapping skills.
  • Confidence working within a structured programme focused on major milestones.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced P2P - Business Data Analyst to play a key role in supporting Our client's journey toward a major 2027 Finance Transformation Go-Live.

You will act as a vital bridge between Business teams, Workstreams, and IT, ensuring clarity of requirements, robust testing, and a smooth implementation path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business, Workstream, and IT stakeholders to gather, validate, and document accurate functional and technical requirements.
  • Conduct extensive data mapping from Contract Management System to Snowflake and then to SAP
