Summary: The Outsourcing Programme Manager role is a hands-on leadership position focused on coordinating large-scale programmes within a global payments client. The position requires ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly with FCA requirements, while delivering results at an executive level. This is a 6-month hybrid contract based in London, offering a flexible start date. The role demands extensive experience in programme management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multi-functional workstreams, developing project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Review, critique, and contribute to programme documentation for internal reviews and regulatory submissions.
- Regularly interact with senior and executive-level stakeholders, tailoring communications to ensure buy-in and accountability.
- Identify potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical concerns as needed.
- Enhance governance, internal controls, and reporting practices to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years delivering complex programmes within a regulated environment, ideally with FCA exposure.
- Comfortable presenting at executive or board level, with the ability to translate complex information for varied audiences.
- Experience managing projects under UK regulatory frameworks; strong understanding of compliance and governance.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with PM tools such as MS Project is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field; PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus but not mandatory.
