Summary: The Outreach Tutor role involves delivering personalized 1:1 tuition to young people without school placements in Exmouth. Key Responsibilities:
- Create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge educational gaps.
- Reengage students in their learning and provide structure to their daily routine.
- Monitor pupil progression and support effective learning in collaboration with Prospero Teaching.
- Work with students who may have been out of education for an extended period.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- UK classroom teaching experience.
- Creativity, patience, and the ability to think outside the box.
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
- Two professional child-related references.
