Summary: The Outfit Engineer will leverage their knowledge and experience in naval and commercial ship outfit systems to address system and spatial integration challenges. Key responsibilities include designing and operating various ship components, preparing technical specifications, and coordinating with suppliers and engineering teams. The role also involves conducting technical analyses, supporting safety reviews, and ensuring compliance with design standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and operate deck coverings, coatings, insulation, and linings.
• Manage doors, hatches, scuttles, accommodation, and wet spaces.
• Oversee medical facilities, ship access, evacuation, and lifesaving systems.
• Prepare technical equipment specifications and procurement pack documentation.
• Coordinate with systems engineers and detail designers on outfit system integration.
• Support HAZIDs, safety reviews, design reviews, and zonal reviews.
• Conduct technical analyses and investigations, providing reports and recommendations.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on engineering matters.
• Contribute to engineering team decisions and answer technical queries.
• Update Windchill PLM with relevant data to maintain baseline design accuracy.
