Summary: The Cyber Security Engineer role focuses on shaping cybersecurity strategies for critical industrial infrastructure in the energy and oil & gas sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to setting the cyber security strategy and achieving strategic goals within the Digital Products and Solutions team
- Lead hands-on deployment activities in Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for expert cyber support and project execution guidance
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical training sessions for internal teams and external customers
- Liaise with internal Industrial Cyber Security (ICS) groups to ensure compliance and promote best practices
- Maintain and utilize the dedicated cyber security lab in Warwickshire
- Occasional global travel (approximately 10%) to customer sites for project deployment and consultation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a control systems or network engineer role within industrial applications
- Hands-on experience configuring and deploying security solutions in live OT environments
- Familiarity with industrial cyber regulations, particularly IEC 62443
- Expertise in configuring network switches and firewalls
- Knowledge of remote connection solutions used in industry
- Experience with Backup Solutions, Anti-Malware solutions, and virtualization platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: GICSP certification or a similar industry-recognized qualification
