Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
  • Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients' homes.
  • Perform manual handling assessments, ensuring safe practices and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualised support plans.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in line with professional and legal standards.

Key Skills:

  • Occupational Therapist Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
  • HCPC registration
