About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Consultant to join our Learning and Organisational Development (LOD) team, part of the central People Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, high impact team supporting leaders and teams across the University.
Working in a consultancy capacity, you will provide strategic OD advice and lead a portfolio of people development programmes, leadership and management interventions, and strategic, change focused projects.
You will work with key stakeholders to understand organisational needs and design, deliver and evaluate effective OD interventions.
A key focus will be developing management and leadership capability, using research, evidence and best practice to create impactful and inclusive solutions.
You will take end to end ownership of selected development programmes, working collaboratively across LOD and the wider People function to continually strengthen their effectiveness and impact.

- You will have experience of designing and delivering learning and OD interventions, particularly in management and leadership development.
- An accomplished facilitator and communicator, you will be confident working with senior stakeholders, navigating complex conversations and influencing and challenging constructively.
- You will combine strategic thinking with a practical, collaborative approach and be comfortable managing competing priorities.
- You will use evidence and evaluation to demonstrate impact and have a strong commitment to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in your OD practice.
- You will enjoy building relationships, solving problems and getting things done, and will be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a supportive, collaborative and high performing team.
