This is a crucial individual contributor role where you will drive the editorial vision, ensuring all content is factual, high-performing, and supports both core SEO demand and emerging AI/LLM discoverability programs. You will be accountable for content quality and performance in your segment, operating at the hands-on intersection of content creation, search, and generative AI. The core of this role involves hands-on editorial execution and deep market knowledge. You will translate complex SEO and AI requirements within your team into an actionable editorial plan for your market.
Key responsibilities include managing the content pipeline from ideation to publication, providing final hands-on editing and sign-off on all content in your segment, and overseeing authorship. Furthermore, you will drive continuous optimisation through performance analysis and process adherence, ensuring content is structured and enriched for best-in-class SEO and AI consumption.
We are looking for a candidate with strong, hands-on editorial experience, ideally within a known brand, publisher, or platform- with travel, e-commerce, or marketplace experience being a plus. You must have a proven track record of end-to-end content ownership and converting SEO/data insights into concrete content for publication. A strong working understanding of SEO fundamentals for editorial content, an awareness of LLM/AI search trends, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for aligning with teams like SEO Strategy, Product, and Localisation. Required Skills And Experience
- Significant Editorial/Content Experience: 5+ years of demonstrable content/editorial/blog experience, preferably with a known brand, publisher, or platform (travel, e-commerce, or marketplaces a plus). Agency experience is acceptable as part of a history with in-house experience.
- Completely fluent and detailed understanding of French, both for France, and in other countries around the world (such as expats). This also includes an in-depth cultural understanding and demonstrable experience with relevant cultural sensitivities. Completely fluent and able to also run editorial in English
- SEO & AI Expertise: Proven track record turning SEO and data insights into published content and editorial roadmaps. 2+ years of wider SEO/marketing knowledge. 2+ years of experience in content marketing SEO, including distribution. Strong working understanding of SEO for editorial (on-page optimisation, internal linking, search intent), plus awareness of LLM/AI search trends.
- Content Execution & Accountability: Proven track record of end-to-end content ownership, including hands-on editing, fact-checking, and final quality assurance for a market/vertical.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Excellent ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (SEO, AI, Localisation, UX, Marketing) and balance editorial integrity with commercial goals.
- Content Operations: Strong organisational skills, experience with content production workflows and editorial tooling, and familiarity with modern CMS platforms (ContentStack a plus).
